WPW syndrome

Wolf Parkinson White (WPW) syndrome is due to an accessory atrioventricular pathway which bypasses the normal atrioventricular (AV) nodal delay. ECG manifests a short PR interval and a delta wave. They are prone for supraventricular tachycardias due to reentry mechanism.
