Can heart rhythm disorders cause hypokinesia?

Hypokinesia is decreased movement or contraction of a region of the heart muscle known as regional wall motion abnormality or whole of the heart which is known as global hypokinesia. Persistently fast heart rhythms can cause weakness of the heart muscle and is known as tachycardiomyopathy. Tachycardiomyopathy can manifest as global hypokinesia. It improves gradually once the heart rate is controlled either by antiarrhythmic medications  which are used to treat heart rhythm disorders or by a procedure known as radiofrequency catheter ablation. Radiofrequency catheter ablation is a procedure in which small electrodes are introduced into the heart to give radiofrequency electrical currents to regions producing abnormal heart rhythms to stop their genesis.
